Why right after `Dreamy Eyes` did you continue to cast a new project by Victor Vu and not another director?

In fact, after Blue Eyes, I cast many films by many directors.

Please share a little about your role in `Guardian Angel`.

In Guardian Angel, I play Mai Ly – a young, modern, innocent girl who has a strong love for singing but has not had any luck in her career.

With acting experience limited to only two previous school romance films, doesn’t Truc Anh find this horror and sensational work to be quite a risky choice?

For Truc Anh, an actor’s luck is to live more than one life, to become more than one self.

Emerging from the movie `Blue Eyes` but most of the compliments for you revolve around your beauty and not your acting ability.

What do you personally find to be the biggest weakness in your acting skills?

Mr. Victor Vu affirmed that `youth factor` and `new faces` are the key factors for this work.

I think whether there is an advantage or not depends on each project.

Previously, to play the role of Ha Lan, Truc Anh had to overcome 1,400 candidates to be chosen by director Victor Vu.

Before that, I had cast many movies but still had no outstanding role.

Truc Anh was the one who proactively suggested casting the role of Ha Lan instead of Tra Long and that seemed to be a very wise decision.

I feel compassion and sympathy for the characters that I accept.

Acting techniques can be learned, but emotions require actors to extract them from their own experiences.

As revealed a little earlier, Mai Ly is a character with quite a lot of psychological depth.

In `Guardian Angel`, Truc Anh had the opportunity to work with Salim and Amee, who are also very young actresses.

Truc Anh’s generation and her peers have social networks as an extremely good support tool for better PR and marketing of their products.

Making an impression in a famous movie at the age of 19 is not something that comes naturally to Truc Anh.

As I have shared, whatever path you choose will have many hardships and obstacles, no success comes easily.
